Be our valentine on Sunday, February 16th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W. Milham Ave. in Portage at 4 p.m., as we serenade you with songs of love. The concert features the full chorus, along with solos by student scholarship recipients and other KMC members. This concert is free.
We'll be part of a concert that showcases the wonderful community choral groups we have in Kalamazoo. Come be a part of this celebration of local singers! Each group will perform their own songs and will join with the entire group on others. Tickets are available here now or at the door.
The Kalamazoo Male Chorus invites you to join in making merry with us once again this year. While making the necessary concessions to Covid, we once again return with Christmas in Kalamazoo, our annual collaboration holiday concert. While this year we will definitely miss our friends and erstwhile partners, the Kalamazoo Ringers, we are happy to share the stage with the Singing Crusaders, a local gospel group, and the Allegan Brass Collective. Be ready to add your voice to the mix as you join us in singing your favorite carols. The concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7th at 7:30 pm at our usual location at Centerpoint Church, 2345 N. 10th St. Admission is free but a freewill offering will be collected.
Celebrate love with us this February! In our next performance we'll join our host, The Kalamazoo Bach Festival Chorus, along with the Kalamazoo College Singers, and special guests Apollo5 from the UK. This will be the most eclectic tribute to love you’re bound to experience anywhere, featuring fantastic soloists, music of Appalachia to Estonia, and several Michigan premieres in a beautiful collaborative celebration of community. The concert will be presented in-person and live-streamed on The Kalamazoo Bach Festival Chorus YouTube Channel. Tickets for both performance types are available here or by calling (269) 337-7407. Admission for the live performance is $29 for adults (or 2 for $50 using discount coupon code LOVE25) and $5 for children. Admission to the streamed performance is $19. IMPORTANT: Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination, including boosters, will be required for this concert, as well as wearing a face covering during your entire visit to Kalamazoo College. Verification can be provided by using the My Bindle App or showing your vaccination card (or photo) upon admission. We'd love to see you at the Kalamazoo College (not WMU) Dalton Theater on Tuesday, February 22nd or have you watch us on-line.
The Kalamazoo Male Chorus presents Brothers, Sing On! At 7 PM on Tuesday, May 3rd, the Kalamazoo Male Chorus will be celebrating our final concert of the 2021-22 season at Voyage Church, 6339 Atlantic Ave. Admission is free. This concert features solos and choral pieces representing some of our favorite performances over the years. After a difficult year off, we are so pleased to band together as brothers once again and share the beauty of music with the Kalamazoo community. As proclaimed in one of the songs you’ll hear, "Come and let our swirling song mount like the whirling wind... Care and sorrow now begone, Brothers in song, sing on!"
Join us for our annual holiday concert, Christmas in Kalamazoo! This collaboration with The Kalamazoo Ringers has become a tradition of the holiday season in Kalamazoo. Some brass instruments might be heard as well. And it's free. (An offering will be taken to offset the cost of the event.)
